Email pipeline
Attach a PDF or image to an email, send it to your personal Inkstract address, and get clean Markdown back within minutes.
Claude Vision OCR
High-accuracy handwriting recognition powered by Claude's vision capability — handles messy writing, mixed print and cursive, and annotations in the margins.
Bullet journal extraction
Rapid logging symbols — tasks, events, notes, migration markers — are recognised and preserved in structured Markdown output.
Diagram preservation
Sketches, diagrams, and doodles are extracted as images and embedded inline in the Markdown output — nothing gets lost.
Personal dictionary
Teach Inkstract your abbreviations, acronyms, and jargon. Entries are used during OCR to improve accuracy and can optionally be expanded inline.
Field-level encryption
All user content — OCR text, Markdown output, dictionary entries — is encrypted at rest with per-user keys. Source files are deleted after processing.
Todoist integration
Tasks extracted from your notes are pushed directly to your Todoist inbox — automatically, on every document, with deduplication so nothing gets added twice.

Events and scheduled items found in your notes are added to your calendar automatically.
Obsidian vault sync
Processed notes drop straight into a nominated folder in your Obsidian vault, with wikilink-formatted titles and embedded diagram images.

Send processed Markdown back to your reMarkable as a formatted notebook page.
Apple Reminders
Push extracted tasks to Apple Reminders via CloudKit.
Supernote & Boox direct sync
First-class support for Supernote and Boox devices beyond the existing email pipeline.
Team dictionaries
Share a dictionary across an organisation so everyone's abbreviations and terminology are recognised consistently.
API access
A REST API for programmatic submission and retrieval — for power users and custom integrations.
